Wyoming summer trip

Posted on Jan 16 2017 - 9:41am

We will be offering the the Wyoming adventure. The dates will be July 28th through August 6th. Sign up deadline will be January 24th. The costs of this trip was presented at the last meeting. A service project to help pay for this event and keep costs low will be a service project . Trib Total media will be supplying us customer lists for about 22,000 homes wherehome delivery has been terminated. A portion of these homes still have the plastic "tubes" and steel posts that must be removed. We will drive the routes, remove  any tubes and then recycle the plastic and metal. Troop 143 will keep any proceeds from the scrap metal. Trib Total media may also make a donation to the troop for the efforts associated with the removal. Any proceeds and/ or donation will be divided among those participating in a prorated hours basis. I will have a sign up sheet for this trip on Tuesday's meeting.

In addition to joining the small percentage (5-6%) of all Scouts who earn Eagle rank, he is another legacy - joining his older brother in that elite fraternity. They mark the fifth set of brothers in the Troop (four sets of two and one set of three) to become Eagle Scouts.
