Please respond - Fundraiser Question

Posted on Oct 23 2016 - 3:41pm

There has been an interest in doing another fundraiser right now to raise funds for the Ski Trip.  I would like to know if there is enough interest from the Troop as a whole to warrant placing a Sarris Candy Bar order.  Giving the timing (Halloween) I do not believe the Hershey collection will sell very well but the Sarris will (also prior experience in fundraising Sarris always sells better than Hershey).  The cases of candy cost $36 for a case of 36 bars and sell for $2 each netting you a $36 profit for your Scouts account.  Now the "normal" procedure for selling the candy bars is paying the $72 up front and then when you sell you just keep the money.  Due to the high initial out-of-pocket expense we can do a split payment option - pay $36 for the case then pay the other $36 profit when you finish selling your case.  If you could please consider your interest and let me know by Monday, October 24th I would really appreciate it.  No response will be considered a No.  Drop me a line at buzzies99@gmail.com and let me know your thoughts - Thanks!! Kathy
