Celebrate Monroeville Assistance Requested

As in past years, assistance from Scouts is requested for the annual Celebrate Monroeville event scheduled for Wednesday, September 2 between 4:00-8:30 PM at the Monroeville Convention Center. Scouts are needed to collect non-perishable food items brought in as donations from patrons. These donations will be boxed for delivery to local food pantries. All scouts in uniform who assist will get into the event at no charge and will have the opportunity to see the participating vendors during the evening. If you are able to assist and did not already sign up on the website, please let the Scoutmaster know.

First Troop Meeting of New Scout Year on September 1

The first meeting of the new scout year will be held on Tuesday, September 1 at 7:00 PM at Gateway Hall. Now that school is back in session, uniform shirts are required uniform for meetings. Join the Troop for the beginning of a great new Scouting year!

A Troop Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1 during the regularly scheduled meeting at Gateway Hall. Follow up to the Scouts' planning conference will be on the agenda. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Bushy Run Merit Badge Program Announced

Our neighbors in the Westmoreland Fayette Council, BSA have announced a merit badge day coming up, and thanks to Mr. Stebleton, we have the details. The program is on Saturday, October 3 from 8 AM to 4 PM at Level Green Presbyterian Church. Scouts may choose between several merit badges.
